The LandSat Images are very Useful to Land cover analysis. further it is available for Free of Charge.But Most of the Professionals are in Sri Lanka facing trouble to Download and Utilizing these Images.
The Landsat Images are available through FTP and HTTP protocols in web. However I'm preferred to FTP.
First, You want to a FTP Client in Your computer, The Filezilla is one of the Most popular opensource FTP Client, you can download through this link --- Filezilla - Free FTP Client. If you already have any other FTP Client skip this step.
Then Open the Filezilla and type the following address on Host:
ftp://ftp.glcf.umiacs.umd.edu
Then Go to this location on Remote server: /glcf/Landsat/WRS2
then select you path then raw. (Refer Image 01)
